Do You Have Shops or a Showroom That I Can Visit?

Our workshop is open for visits all week by appointment only. Please call in advance on 01553600735 if you wish to visit our workshop to book an appointment.

Do You Offer Custom or Bespoke Items?

Yes. We hand make every aspect of your order and have a full fabrication and wood workshop so if you need a custom size or a complete custom piece we are more than happy to help.

How Much Does Delivery Cost?

Delivery is free to all UK mainland addresses, if you are unsure on whether you would need to pay a delivery fee, please contact us

Who Delivers Your Furniture?

We deliver all of our own furniture, to give you the best possible service and ensure that your order arrives safely with you 

Do You Ship Internationally?

If you live outside of UK mainland, please get in contact so that we can discuss what piece you would like and where you wold like it delivered to

How Long Will Delivery Take?

All our furniture is handmade to order. The expected delivery time is detailed on each product page. 

How Can I Change My Delivery Address After I Have Placed An Order?

Any amendments to your order can be made, by contacting us on customerservices@thegraincompany.co.uk, as long as your order has not yet been dispatched 

Do You Assemble Furniture On Delivery?

Unfortunately not, but we do include instructions and all the tools needed to assemble your table and are always on the end of the phone if you need to contact us for assistance

Can I Pay Extra To Have My Order Delivered Quicker Than The Specified Lead Time?

Yes, we charge a flat rate of £120 for all expedited delivery 

Where Can I Store The Centre Leaf Of My Extending Table?

The centre leaf will need to be stored separately from the table

We recommend storing the centre leaf under a sofa or under a bed, please make sure it is stored flat.

It would be unsuitable to store it in a loft, or somewhere where there is high temperature differences throughout the day and night

How Far Apart Should I Place My Room Dividers?

They are 3.5x6cm and people notmally set them between 6 and 10cm for the 3.5cm side and between 8 and 14cm for the 6cm side.

How Do I Place An Order?

Can I Add Or Remove Products From My Order After I Have Placed It?

As long as your order has not yet been started, you are able to remove an item from your order. If you would like to add anything to your order, this can be done at any time but please be aware that this will increase the delivery time so we can get all of your items delivered to your at the same time. Returns

What Is Your Refund Policy?

How Do I Arrange A Return?

Returns will be subject to a 20% return fee, as detailed in our refund policy. Please get in contact to arrange a return with us via customerservices@thegraincompany.co.uk. As detailed in our refund policy, requests for return must be made in writing.

What If My Item Is Faulty?

Please email our customer services team customerservices@thegraincompany.co.uk or call us on 07737015527 within 24 hours of receipt of delivery. When emailing, please include a photograph of the damaged/faulty item. We will then be able to discuss with you a replacement or repair.

How Long Do I Have To Return My Item?

Requests to make a return must be in writing. The item must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery, but only at our discretion. Returns are subject to a 20% return fee, as detailed in our refund policy.

How Will I Be Refunded?

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used.

Care

What Do I Do If I Spill Something On My Table?

Please wipe away spillages as quickly as possible and do not let liquids sit on the surface for a period of time. Avoid using chemical cleaners as these can break down the finish – wiping with a damp soapy cloth is best then wipe again with a clean dry cloth.

Should I Use Coasters And Placemats?

Coasters and placemats are recommended where possible.

How Do I Keep My Table Looking As Good As New?

We recommend very 3-6 months applying a thin coat of wax and buffing off with a clean dry cloth

How Do I Purchase More Of The Wax For My Table?
