At The Grain Company, we use the best quality material for our furniture. We source top grade Canadian Pine and create the reclaimed rustic look through our production process. As the wood is obtained from different sources each table will be unique to you and the finish may vary slightly.

We DO NOT use reclaimed timber – our timber is Grade-A, free from contaminants and preservatives; crafted and finished by hand to achieve a reclaimed rustic look and kiln dried to a low moisture content. Reclaimed timber from old buildings, building sites or used scaffold boards is generally poor quality and has a tendency to bow, warp and crack in the home due to its higher moisture content.

From our workshop in rural Norfolk, the team handcraft every piece using hardwoods, high-grade softwoods, and mild steel.

We specialize in traditional tables from extending, to desk, to bedside and coffee; we also craft beautiful hallway cabinets; plus a specially designed range of chairs, high stools, and benches. Stunning pieces that stand the test of time.
