How delivery works
A clear route from workshop to room
Handmade furniture does not leave a warehouse the day after it is ordered. We finish your piece first, then arrange a suitable delivery rather than leaving you guessing.

We make your furniture
Each piece is made to order. Our usual production time is 4–6 weeks, although this can vary for larger or more involved orders.

When your order is ready, we contact you about the next suitable route. Delivery is usually 5–14 days after completion.

Much of our furniture is delivered by our own team. Depending on the item and destination, we may use a carefully selected furniture courier.

Will it fit?
Measure the journey, not only the space
Solid wood furniture can be large and heavy. Before ordering, compare the product dimensions with every doorway, hallway, turn and stair between the vehicle and the room.
If access looks tight, send us your measurements and a few photographs. We can advise before the furniture is made.

Every order and route is a little different. These are the questions we are asked most often.
Where is free delivery available?
Delivery is free to most addresses in England, mainland Scotland and Wales. Some locations and difficult-access deliveries may need a surcharge. Send us your postcode if you would like confirmation before ordering.
When will I receive a delivery date?
Your furniture is normally made within 4–6 weeks. Once it is ready, we contact you about the next suitable route, with delivery usually following 5–14 days after completion. If you have a fixed deadline, speak with us before ordering.
Who delivers the furniture?
We deliver much of our furniture ourselves. Depending on the piece and destination, we may use a carefully selected furniture courier.
What access information do you need?
Please tell us about narrow doorways, stairs, lifts, parking restrictions or other access concerns before delivery. Check that the item will fit through every entrance and into the intended room.
Will the furniture arrive assembled?
Some products need straightforward assembly so they can be moved safely into place. The required fixings, tools and instructions are included. Product-specific details appear on each product page.
Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?
Sometimes, depending on the item and destination. Contact us before ordering with your postcode or country and the furniture you are considering so we can confirm whether delivery is possible and provide a price.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible. We can normally update the address before delivery, but a different location may change the route or cost and must be agreed with us first.
What should I do when the order arrives?
Please inspect the packaging and furniture as soon as practical. If anything appears damaged or incorrect, take clear photographs and contact us promptly with your order number.
