Shipping policy

All our products are handmade from solid, sustainably sourced timber, high quality steel and other materials. Made to measure from scratch, we don't hold 'ready to ship’ products.

We will delivery your order as soon as possible once it is ready.


Most of our orders we deliver ourselves.

Deliveries made by TheGrainCompany will be confirmed by an email from us. You will be given a date and a 4 hour delivery window, so you're not waiting in all day.

If we do not received from you confirmation you'll be able to accept delivery and a contact number for the day, at least 24hrs before your delivery your order may be moved to another date. We use WHATTHREEWORDS where possible, to locate your home or property quickly and easily.

When we send orders by Courier, our courier will contact you with all your delivery information.


Surcharge Areas:

The following postcodes will incur a delivery surcharge, including orders with free delivery. Please contact us to get a price for delivery prior to ordering.

If you live in a surcharge area and place your order on the website, we will contact you to collect additional delivery costs.

AB ,IV ,PH, PA, DD, TR, PL, TQ, CA, TD, EH, G, DG, KA, ML, FK, KY, LL(EXCLUDING 13-14) AND SY23/24/25

Other Highland and remote Scottish postcodes will need special arrangements.
